Goring & Ferring

These areas are generally noted for catches of Dogfish, Smoothhound, Eels, Bass and the Peeler Crab is usually the top all round summer bait. Undulate Rays and Stingrays are possible in the right conditions and Golden Grey Mullet are often caught very close to the shore using maddies.

These venues have vast areas of rocky seabed and during winter months storms can dramatically reduce the amount of sand at these venues so always worth a visit at low tide to check the ground you intend to fish. Weed can be a problem on the Spring Tides or after a strong wind.

Goring has plenty of nearby parking along Marine Drive and Ferring has a small Car Park at Blue Bird café which is all free parking.
