A refined magnetic braking system lets you finely control spool speed with an external adjustment knob. Reducing friction allows the spool to run freely for maximum distance while maintaining full control. Magnetic brakes remain the most reliable and effective system for casting multipliers.

The floating spool is built to exacting tolerances, making it exceptionally free-running and friction-free.

Inside, upgraded hardened-brass gearing delivers a balance of smoothness and durability. The three NMB ABEC 5 stainless-steel bearings are sealed for long-lasting, trouble-free performance. The new carbon drag system delivers smoother, more consistent pressure with less start-up inertia and greater longevity.

The reel comes with a wider, stronger reel foot to provide a snug, secure fit in the reel seat. It also features a power handle and a line-out alarm.
