Designed as a big fish rig to carry large baits. The pennel features two hooks close together; one is knotted to the main rig body line with the other hook loose on the rig body. This allows you to build up a large bait of worm, squid, cuttlefish, mackerel etc. that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to build on a single hook. The second hook also helps when targeting fish with big mouths such as cod. Uptide rigs are designed to be used in flowing water for maximum effectiveness, and a Tronixpro Uptide Boom completes the rig to avoid tangles when casting and fishing.
