AXIA Tungsten Putty

A firm but stretchy, malleable tungsten putty that is grippy and easy to work with. Used in all manner of fishing circumstances where you want to add extra weight to your bait or lure and to pin down lines for concealment. Ideal for balancing hook baits in carp fishing, balancing soft plastic lures and tuning hard lures as well. Easy to use, take a pinch of the required amount and twist it between your fingers to add heat, this makes it easier to use, when it is soft you can mount it firmly around the position required either on the line, near the lure or on the hook itself. Tungsten putty will go hard once it is submerged into cooler water, so it won’t fall off even under vigorous casting. Tungsten is super dense, 30% heavier than lead, reusable and non-toxic and safe to use in freshwater. You will only require a small amount to fine-tune your rigs, and when you want to remove it, it won’t leave a sticky residue.
